Kim Howard, CEO
Kim Howard’s education is nursing with undergraduate
studies in business at the University of Minnesota. Her
talent for business quickly became apparent after forming
ASI in 1983. Since then, her industry leadership has been
demonstrated in the growth and expansion form its origins
in temporary administrative and industrial staffing into
trial for hire, direct hire, payroll resource services,
educational placement, and consulting. ASI today places
candidates from entry level to senior executive positions
in virtually every functional discipline and industry. In
addition to her formidable economic contributions to the
community, Kim has served on the Board of Directors for
hospitals, several other non-profits, and provides direct
services through Majestic Hills Ranch, a non-profit
organization providing free therapeutic riding lessons to
children with disabilities.
Larry Johnson , Executive
Director, Relationship Management
Larry Johnson, a veteran in the recruiting and staffing
industry, has held senior positions with local and
national firms, including a licensed operation of his own.
Larry is well respected for his professional contributions
and long-term business relationships within the industry.
A former President Elect of the Staffing Association of
Minnesota, Larry continues is to give back to the
community through many charitable organizations. He
currently serves as Vice President of a non-profit
organization.
CJ Pierson, Director of Operations
CJ Pierson began her career in the recruiting and staffing
industry in 1977. CJ played a key role in the start-up and
launching of ASI in 1983 and was quickly promoted to Vice
President of Operations. Today, CJ manages the purchasing,
credit, collections, Human Resources, and facilities
management functions. CJ’s career includes nine years as
Human Resources and Operations Manager for Tubman Family
Alliance. As Board Secretary and Ranch Administrator for
Majestic Hills Ranch, a non-profit organization providing
free therapeutic riding lessons to children with
disabilities, CJ continues to give back to the community.

Larry Johnson , Executive Director,

Dustin Paloranta, Branch Manager
Dustin Paloranta, former principle in his own staffing
firm, has over ten years of successful experience in the
employment industry. Dustin’s company merged with ASI
early in 2005 to leverage organizational and market
synergies. Clients appreciate his ability to build rapport
quickly, assess critical job requirements, respond in a
timely manner, and act with integrity.

RESOURCES
Carol Meagher, Accounting Manager
Carol Meagher directs the accounting and finance
operations for all ASI divisions. She has a B.A. from
Southwest State University and an undergraduate degree
from the University of Minnesota. Carol is a member of the
American Payroll Association. Carol serves as Board
Treasurer of Majestic Hills Ranch for Children, a
non-profit organization providing free therapeutic riding
lessons to children with disabilities.
TEACHERS ON CALL
Missy Dahms, Executive Director
Missy Dahms is a graduate of Concordia University with a
Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in
Early Childhood Education. Missy joined Teachers On Call
six years ago. Since then, her strong commitment to
education, quality customer service, and interpersonal
effectiveness has been a major factor in the impressive
level of customer satisfaction among clients of Teacher’s
On Call. Missy strives to find the perfect educational
talent for her clients and takes pride in her ability to
find just the right educational setting for candidates.
Jill Noble, Teacher Coordinator
Jill Noble brings a strong background in education as well
as quality customer service to Teachers On Call.
Jill has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of
Minnesota-Twin Cities in Sociology. She is also
taking classes towards her Master in Education,
specializing in Special Education, at Augsburg College
in Minneapolis. Having worked as a substitute
teacher for a year and with a non-profit for six years,
Jill knows what it takes to pair candidates with the
right group of children and clients.
